About Chef Ryan

Growing up in Wisconsin, surrounded by big families on both my mother and father’s side, I was taught that a strong work ethic would be one of my best assets in life; that, and perfecting the art of comfort foods. The lesson of work ethic got me my first job washing dishes in a kitchen at age fourteen. Two years later, I was old enough to work the line, so I lent my services to a family restaurant before moving on to flip burgers.

It didn’t take long for me to learn that a more elegant side of the culinary world was out there, waiting for me to delve into.

In 2009, I visited Austin, Texas for the first time, and it’s safe to say it was love at first sight. The city inspired me to change my career path. I moved to the hill country within months of my visit, and established my business as a personal chef.

“Cielo su Terra” is Italian for heaven on earth. The glistening lakes, the rolling hills and countless green trees – the capital city of Texas is ethereal. Here, I have been given the chance to do what I love, and bring it into the homes of amazing people who live in this amazing city. Explore what pieces of heaven I can create in your home.
